Fume-shroom in the video game Plants vs Zombies is the first offensive plant with an area-of-effect attack. The reason is that the fume cloud can damage everything within its four-square range. Fume-shroom has an advantage over peashooter in that it can destroy a flock of zombies at a time.
One way to make maximum use of the fume-shroom is to put two or three in a row behind a wall-nut while still protecting them.
